Agrimony tea is sometimes taken as a refreshing Spring beverage. The occult legacy of Agrimony is harder to trace. Its protective reputation may be related to another traditional name for the plant, Church Steeple. Many plants that resemble holy objects were thought to have the power to repel evil spirits. Agrimony is an herb of protection and reversal magick. It is used to break jinxes, and to turn them back upon the sender. In Hoodoo, Agrimony is considered to be one of the best herbs for counteracting the Evil Eye, slander, and gossip.
Lemongrass also clears negative energy from the brow chakra or spiritual eyes. As individuals let go of past issues and stagnant energy, they have an increased ability to see situations with greater clarity, useful in rituals to cleanse and purify or shed light on dark corners or hidden issues. It can help with obstacles standing the way and transform negative energy into positive. Lemongrass fosters openness and is used to promote clear open communication.
Thyme - Can be burned as a purifier, and inhaling the burning scent is thought to enhance psychic powers and renew energy. Burn it in the home to banish evil and purify the home or a specific room. It offers protection, but more notably is well-known for its power to grant courage.
