Folklore and Uses
- Historically it is a charm for treating victims of lightning strike burns. It involves crushing roses and purslane together to make a poultice.
- Since roses contain a large dose of vitamin C and can reduce redness, it stands to reason it would look quite magical to the time's healers.
- Rosebuds can be used as a pendulum to divine secrets, love relationships, and issues of forgiveness, fidelity, and friendship.
These are all-natural yellow and red roses that have been dehydrated; they have a 6" stem still on them. They can be used as dried floral arrangements for crafts, arts, or hobby projects. They can also be used as offerings during rituals or ceremonies.
Because roses have a vibration that is pure and positive they are wonderful additions to your altar and offerings to divine beings. Just being near a rose or bouquet of roses can enhance your meditation and yoga practice, since it clears the mind and aligns us closely with the energy of the Divine. Rosewater, essential oil of rose, rose absolute and rosewater essence can all have similar effects.
