Goldstone is a man made stone, it is actually a formation of glass. However since glass is made from sand, and sand is created from stones and crystals that would mean that Goldstone can easily be considered a very powerful stone. Goldstone and other man made crystals carry with it the energy and properties of all the materials within it. All forms of Goldstone are man made, this includes the colors of Blue and Green, there is a stone called Opalite that is also man made.
Goldstone has many uses and it is impossible to say what it can or can't do, the sand mixture is the only way to limit the potental of this stone and even the lowest energies within Goldstone are raised during the creation with the Fire energy that is used. It is a stone of ambition and is thought to assist in attaining goals. Many have considered goldstone a symbol of ingenuity, ambition, and drive. It is believed to reduce tension, revitalize the wearer and encourage a positive attitude.
Brown or Gold goldstone, with the copper content, is believed to carry many of the metaphysical properties of the metal. Thought to generate and revitalize energy fields, transmit positivity and divert evil energy into the earth. It is another excellent grounding stone.
