Uses of Frankincense Resin
Also known as liquid gold or Boswellia serrata, this Frankincense resin is extracted from the Boswellia tree that is found in North Africa, India, and southern Arabia. Frankincense assists in removing negative energy from a space, providing protection, and creating an elevated spiritual awareness. It is often used to lift moods, to ease anxiety and stress, and for purification.
Frankincense Resin is well known in some beliefs as a protection resin with the ability to cleanse and santify the area around it. One of the largest users of Frankincense Resin is the Catholic church as Frankincense is one of the gifts given to baby Jesus by the three wise men.
