Peppermint has had a long history of being used to calm the stomach. The National Library of Medicine states that Peppermint is promoted for the use of assisting with IBS, digestive issues, sinus infections, the common cold and headaches. Medical News Today lists traditional uses of Peppermint to assist in treating: itching, prevent or stop vomiting, reduce mucus, muscle spasms, reduce gas.
Valerian Root is a top recommendation among herbalists for its assistance with sleep. The National Library of Medicine states that Valerian Root is promoted for assisting in the treatments of: insomnia, PMS, menopause symptoms, depression and headaches. Historically Valerian Root was used to assist with fatigue, stomach cramps insomnia and migraines.
